Thenammai Lakshmanan is a poet, writer, blogger and freelance journalist. She has submitted research papers at the Fourth World Tamil Symposium. Her poems have been translated into English and Kannada. Her translation of the poem has been published in the Kannada newspaper Sagi. She is the recipient of the "Arimashakti" award for her book Anna Patsi. Have been awarded twice in the Poetry Competition of the Riyadh Tamil Diocese. She is the recipient of 25 awards for Web Writing, Special Award for Social Networking, Mother Teresa Award, Women Empowerment Award and Community Service Award. She is the recipient of the "Special Lady" award from the Ladies Special Magazine.
