About Sarangkot Sherpe Resort

Sarangkot, famous for its magnificent views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, Phewa Tal and the Pokhara Valley, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Conveniently located just 9km to the north west of Pokhara, this former Kaski fort is perched high on the ridge top at 1,592m. Not only is the sunrise panorama a once in a lifetime experience, but also you can take a walk around the picturesque traditional farming villages with magnificent views of Phewa Tal or watch paragliding pilots taking off and flying high above you alongside eagles and vultures. Sarangkot Sherpa Resort Pvt. Ltd. is only a 5-minute walk west from the public view tower; however, due to its stunning location on top of the ridge it offers its own unique panoramic views of the Himalayas from all corners of the resort as well as a private viewpoint for enjoying the sunrise. Just below the resort to the south are unspoilt rural villages and to the north the ridge drops 700m down into the Pokhara Valley, dramatically revealing the splendour of the Himalayas.
