About PSGR Krishnammal College For Women
he late Sri. G. R. Govindarajulu, Founder of GRG Trust, following the footsteps of his illustrious parents, started a high school for girls in 1956 in Peelamedu, Coimbatore. It had a growing popularity in this area and it was the earnest desire of all the distinguished visitors and the public that the school should blossom into a full-fledged college for women. Thus PSGR Krishnammal College for Women was started on 28th June 1963 under the auspices of the GRG Trust, with Sri G.R. Govindarajulu as Founder Trustee and Smt. Chandrakanthi Govindarajulu as Founder Correspondent of the College.
