About Nirmala College For Women
Nirmala College for Women, Red Fields, Coimbatore is a Catholic Institution of Higher Education for Women under the direction of religious society of the Franciscan Sisters of the Presentation of Mary founded by Rev.Fr. Joseph Louis Ravel in the year 1948. The College became autonomous in the year 2007. In 2015, the college was accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC in the third cycle with CGPA 3.62. The institution was upgraded to the star status in 2017 under the Star College Scheme of DBT, Government of India. In 2018-19, Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana(PMKVY) for skill development in voice training, non voice training and data entry was introduced.
